Information we collect
When you contact us, ask about a vehicle, submit a vehicle for sale, schedule a visit, or otherwise use our website, we may collect information you provide such as your name, email address, phone number, vehicle information, VIN, mileage, title or payoff information, requested price, and the contents of your message. If you complete a transaction with us, additional information is collected through the dealership portal and transaction documents as required to complete and document the sale.
How we use information
We use submitted information to respond to requests, evaluate vehicles offered to us, communicate about inventory or transactions, schedule visits, maintain dealership records, prevent fraud or abuse, improve the website, and comply with legal, tax, title, registration, accounting, and recordkeeping obligations.
Communications
When you submit a form, you authorize D-Drive Auto to respond to that specific request using the email address or phone number you provide. We are not currently using website form submission as consent for recurring promotional text-message marketing. If we introduce marketing SMS later, we will request separate consent where appropriate.
Service providers
We may use service providers to host the website and dealership systems, deliver email, store data and documents, provide authentication, analytics, electronic signatures, transportation coordination, or other business services. We provide those services only the information reasonably needed for the applicable function. We do not sell personal information to advertisers.
Website analytics and cookies
Our site may use necessary browser storage for features such as authentication and preferences. We may also use measurement tools to understand website traffic, vehicle interest, and lead conversions. Analytics configuration is intended for business measurement rather than the sale of visitor profiles.
Data retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected and for applicable dealership, tax, title, transaction, fraud-prevention, and recordkeeping requirements. We use access controls and third-party infrastructure intended to protect dealership information, but no internet or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Children
This website is intended for people shopping for, selling, or conducting business involving motor vehicles and is not directed to children under 13.
