Information we collect

When you contact us, ask about a vehicle, submit a vehicle for sale, schedule a visit, or otherwise use our website, we may collect information you provide such as your name, email address, phone number, vehicle information, VIN, mileage, title or payoff information, requested price, and the contents of your message. If you complete a transaction with us, additional information is collected through the dealership portal and transaction documents as required to complete and document the sale.

How we use information

We use submitted information to respond to requests, evaluate vehicles offered to us, communicate about inventory or transactions, schedule visits, maintain dealership records, prevent fraud or abuse, improve the website, and comply with legal, tax, title, registration, accounting, and recordkeeping obligations.

Communications

When you submit a form, you authorize D-Drive Auto to respond to that specific request using the email address or phone number you provide. We are not currently using website form submission as consent for recurring promotional text-message marketing. If we introduce marketing SMS later, we will request separate consent where appropriate.

Service providers

We may use service providers to host the website and dealership systems, deliver email, store data and documents, provide authentication, analytics, electronic signatures, transportation coordination, or other business services. We provide those services only the information reasonably needed for the applicable function. We do not sell personal information to advertisers.

Google API Services & User Data Policy Disclosures

Specific disclosures regarding the access, usage, sharing, transfer, retention, and deletion of Google user data in compliance with the Google API Services User Data Policy.

1. Google Scopes and Data Accessed

D-Drive Auto integrates with Google APIs strictly to support internal dealership operations when an authorized administrator connects their Google account. The specific scopes and corresponding user data accessed include:

Google Calendar API (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events): Used solely to view, create, and update dealership appointment schedules, customer test drives, and vehicle delivery appointments directly on the authorized staff member's primary Google Calendar.
Google Photos Picker API (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/photospicker.mediaitems.readonly): Used exclusively to allow dealership staff to browse and select vehicle inventory photographs from their Google Photos account for upload as vehicle listing imagery on ddriveauto.com.
Google Photos Library API (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/photoslibrary.appendonly): Used solely to export and back up dealership-generated vehicle walkaround photos or albums into a dedicated “D Drive Studio” album within the dealership's authorized Google Photos account.
YouTube Data API (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.upload): Used solely to upload dealership-rendered vehicle inventory video walkarounds and shorts directly to the dealership's authenticated YouTube channel.

2. With Whom We Share, Transfer, or Disclose Google User Data

D-Drive Auto does not share, transfer, disclose, sell, rent, or trade Google user data to any third parties, commercial brokers, advertising networks, or data aggregators.

No External Disclosures: Google user data is processed solely within D-Drive Auto's authenticated dealership administrative environment and is transmitted strictly and directly between our servers and Google's official APIs over secure TLS/HTTPS encryption.
No Targeted Advertising: Google user data is never used or transferred for the purpose of serving personalized, retargeted, or behavioral advertisements.
No AI / Model Training: Google user data is never used to train, evaluate, or fine-tune generalized machine learning (ML) or artificial intelligence (AI) models.
No Human Review: Human employees or contractors do not read or inspect your Google user data unless you have given explicit consent to investigate a specific technical support request, or as required by law.

3. Data Retention and Deletion of Google User Data

D-Drive Auto retains Google user data only for the minimum duration strictly necessary to deliver the requested service:

OAuth Tokens & Credentials: OAuth 2.0 access tokens and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256 and are retained only while the dealership integration remains actively connected.
Temporary Media URIs: Ephemeral photo picker URIs and session tokens expire automatically within 1 to 24 hours per Google Photos API policies.
Calendar Event Identifiers: Calendar event IDs are retained in our database only for the active lifespan of the corresponding dealership appointment record.
Immediate Self-Service Disconnection: Dealership administrators can instantly disconnect their Google account at any time by navigating to Admin Portal → Settings / Dev → Connected Integrations and clicking “Disconnect”. Upon disconnection, all stored OAuth refresh tokens, access tokens, and cached Google user data are immediately and permanently erased from D-Drive Auto databases.
Third-Party App Revocation: You can also revoke D-Drive Auto's access to your Google account at any time directly through your Google Account Security & Permissions Dashboard.
Data Deletion Requests: Users may also submit a formal request for complete deletion of any stored Google user data by contacting us at contact@ddriveauto.com or calling 817-953-0000. Deletion requests are confirmed and executed within 30 days.

Google API Services User Data Policy Compliance: D-Drive Auto's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Website analytics and cookies

Our site may use necessary browser storage for features such as authentication and preferences. We may also use measurement tools to understand website traffic, vehicle interest, and lead conversions. Analytics configuration is intended for business measurement rather than the sale of visitor profiles.

Data retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected and for applicable dealership, tax, title, transaction, fraud-prevention, and recordkeeping requirements. We use access controls and third-party infrastructure intended to protect dealership information, but no internet or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Children

This website is intended for people shopping for, selling, or conducting business involving motor vehicles and is not directed to children under 13.
